Perfect controller for the Halo Covenant fan.Apr 20, 2008 If you've got an Xbox 360, you need controllers. This covenant model if pefect for Halo fans of all ages. Todd McFarlane did the artwork for this controller. The picture won't soon rub off onto your hands, and it's a great conversation piece amongst your plain colored controllers.
The layout of the buttons on the Xbox 360 is amazing. It's perfect for many of the games that are on the 360. The rumble is effective, and the wireless capacity is wonderful.
The only beef I have, is that I've had two controllers that become loose on the left analog stick, and they began to drag the cursor when not touched. The Xbox Warranty I had from the console replaced them free of charge. Luckily I had extra controllers to get me by in the week it took to replace it.
When matched with the rechargable battery pack, they give you lots of gaming time between charges.

Nice ControllerDec 28, 2007 It works just as well as any other controller we have. It has a smooth feel. The art is cool plus it's a Mcfarlane product.

What a cool controller!Oct 20, 2007 This controller (and it's companion) are the definitive additions to any Halo fan's collection. They are pretty much the same, in terms of controller quality, as all other Xbox 360 controllers. However, it is pretty sweet to play with your favorite faction scrawled across your controller.

overpriced. no color coordinated NiMH batterySep 09, 2007 Based on the old Xbox S-controller with added bumpers. This controller can turn on/off the 360 remotely, act as a remote, works on a PC, connects to a headset, etc... It rumbles -- the $600 PS3 doesn't. It connects FLAWLESSLY. Never fails to connect and the connection never drops, ever, even though it's wireless. Battery life is extremely LONG - you'll be able to use the thing forever without recharging. Attachments exist for charge & play, Accessories for quick charge. Options for regular or rechargeable batteries.
3rd party wireless controllers for the original xbox SUCKED! The connection dropped, they would malfunction. Everything about this 360 controller is right!
2 criticisms: 1) It's overpriced; frankly it's almost double the price it should be (if the spartan figurine is supposedly a bonus, then we shouldn't be paying $20 more for the controller). 2) for the money, they should throw in a color-coordinated black NiMH battery, which they don't. If you have white NiMH batteries, they of course won't match the black back of the controller.
